Ms. Davis has been a functioning psychic since the age of 6. Her first clue that she had special abilities came when she was able to predict her mother's exact words and punishment when she accidentally tossed the cat threw an unopened window. (A note to animal rights folks: The cat survived and lived a fruitful life until getting hit by a car and becoming an oil slick on the nations roadways.)
Mavis saved her allowance and sent for a mail order book called "Sharpening Your Psychic Ability Without a Knife" and studied it voraciously until she finally figured out what voracious meant. By the time she got to high school Mavis was fairly confident that she could psychic with the best of them. Mavis was often found reading palms and conducting seances in the cafeteria during lunch. After high school, Mavis studied with the famed Astronomologist Madame Wang at the Institute for Psychics and Astronomologists. Upon graduating Summa Cum Loud Psychic, Mavis traveled New England extensively with the Wiggling Brothers Circus telling fortunes, making predictions and keeping track of the lions and tigers and bears.
After Mavis had her fill of traveling, she settled in Boston and continues to use her psychic abilities for profit. A world renowned writer and speaker, Mavis can be called upon at any time to help solve problems, find answers to questions that haven't been asked yet, dispense advice, predict the future and a host of other talents.
